The heads of 12 bilateral chambers in Bulgaria held the first ever bilateral business breakfast. The meeting was hosted by the Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, whose Chairman of the Board Atty. Victor Gugushev welcomed everyone and wished them a successful year, built on partnerships and development of international business relations.

All organizations presented their priorities, most of which overlapped, incl. sustainable business development, transforming Bulgaria into an attractive investment destination, and extending partnership networks.

The cross-border connectivity, well-functioning institutions and legislative changes that address the businesses' needs certainly unite the companies operating in Bulgaria and the heads of the bilateral chambers. Throughout the discussion, attendees raised problems, but also identified solutions they would all like to work on during the current year.

This marked the beginning of a new tradition, which all parties agreed would be a regular event to discuss topical issues. The next host of this format will be the Bulgarian-Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

We are confident that close cooperation and mutual support will enhance visibility of the member companies of each chamber and provide them with new partnerships and a better business environment in Bulgaria.
