More than 30 companies from Bulgaria gathered in Plovdiv, in order to learn about the opportunities for BUSINESS BEYOND THE DANUBE, presented by Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Up-to-date statistical information for the two countries, useful "behind the scenes" advice, good examples of successful businesses in Romania and shared experience were part of the presentation of Executive Director Eleonora Ivanova. Lawyer Louisa Mitroi presented the latest developments in the Romanian legislation regarding the business. The Economic Advisor at the Romanian Embassy in Bulgaria - Mr. Radu Moldovan welcomed the participants in the forum and presented a promotional video of the Investment Agency in our northern neighbor.
Following the formal part of the event, the Chamber's team held individual meetings and consultations with companies that had specific issues related to the sectors they wanted to enter.
Partners of the forum were the Plovdiv Municipality, Plovdiv Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Thrace Economic Zone, Digital 4 Plovdiv.
The huge interest of companies that represented sectors such as mechanical engineering, food production and processing, mining, transport and logistics, construction etc. justified the expectations of the Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber that the topic was important and the information submitted - relevant. Companies from all over Bulgaria came to Plovdiv - mainly from southern Bulgaria, but also from Vidin, Sofia, Varna.
