In the beginning of May Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry started working on a new project “Greening For Growth”, funded by the Norway Grants 2014-2021.

BRCCI is the lead partner of the project, Sintef Manufacturing As (Norway) and Balkan Institute for Labour and Social Policy (Bulgaria) are project partners.

The project objective is to support SMEs in competence-building in the field of Green Industry Innovation, through:

• identifying and presenting already developed, ready to be used practical solutions that are applicable for the Bulgarian SMEs.
• giving the Bulgarian SMEs opportunity to exchange experience the field of Green Industry Innovation with Norwegian companies.

The ambition of the project team is to identify lighthouse practical examples of already developed, ready to be used innovative solutions for the creation of products, processes and services that improve operational performance whilst respecting the environment.

During the project the partners will carry out the following activities:

• broad-scope study on practical solutions in the field of Green Industry Innovation: in Norway, in and оutside Europe.
• regional meetings in Bulgaria, aimed at identifying the needs of the SMEs in terms of Green Industry Innovation.
• study visit for Bulgarian SMEs to Norwegian companies from various sectors offering Green Industry Innovation solutions.
• web-based digital catalogue of practical, ready to be used Green Industry Innovation solutions for the Bulgarian SMEs.
• match-making forum on Green Industry Innovation solutions in Bulgaria.
