REAL CHALLENGES FOR VET STUDENTS

The RC4VETs project unites the efforts of the business and educational institutions to achieve a more successful realization of young people after completing their education. The aim of the RC4VETs project is to eliminate the discrepancy between the theoretical knowledge taught in school and the necessary practical skills, with which young people will fit into the competitive professional environment after graduating from high school.

The RC4VETs target group consists of graduates of vocational high schools in six countries - Bulgaria, Italy, Greece, Portugal, Slovenia and Spain. Partnering organizations from these countries have already identified real business cases and will provide them to young people to solve. They, along with their teachers (specialists in the fields, needed to solve the challenge), will be grouped into multidisciplinary and international teams. They will have five months, together with the project partners, to solve the cases offered by the companies.

RC4VET will contribute to reducing the gaps in skills, which are taught in school, and reducing youth unemployment, while promoting entrepreneurship, innovation, social inclusion.

Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber is among the project participants.
